JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON MARTIN
After reading the article and comments about the rally yesterday on Daily-Chronicle.com nor the article or the comments reflexed the real issue (to me). Why are Black Males feared? I read what some of the speaker said and I can agree. That racism is alive and well not only in America but right here in DeKalb Il. After reading the comments that locals left on the website it sounds to me that these people are more concern about what Trayvon was wearing than Zimmerman’s disregard for law enforcement instructions. The facts are that Martin was not a gang member end of discussion. He was a Black Man walking the planet where most people fear him. In a state where scared people carry guns and shoot out of hate and fear, not protection and good judgement. But here we go again begging master to do something about the problem. I do believe that something may be done to Zimmerman ,but my people remember this that George Zimmerman may of shot Trayvon but a mindset kill him. We must always remember that we live in a country that was “founded” by an oppressed people and they are not looking to give up power anytime soon. History has taught that there is no change without conflict. We must ask ourselves a question. Do we want to govern ourselves? Or do we want to continue to be ruled by a system that isn’t design for us ? I believe that once these questions are answered then and only then shall murder of Trayvon Martin will receive justice.

Blacks and Low Self-Esteem
Of all the epidemics facing Black America today, low self-esteem and self-hatred should be at the top of the list. In 2011 many Black people are still ashamed of their facial features, skin color, and hair texture. Even though many Blacks fail to admit they suffer from low self-esteem, their self-hatred is evident in the way they talk, walk, dress, and act.
Stop giving them power!
Civil rights activist the Rev. Jesse Jackson on Friday urged Grammy organizers to reinstate 31 ethnic and minority musical categories that have been cut from the music industry’s top awards.
These are the kind of fights we no longer need to fight. It is time to learn to stand on our own. Why do we continue to want to be accepted by people who don’t want us around? If the Grammy organizers don’t want us to be apart of their show so be it. It is time for us to use not only our minds but our resources to build what WE want to build.

Took a moment today to reflex on my life while watching my sons at play, and a question arose. How far have I really come? I was at the same place that I had celebrated my birthdays as a child and here I was bringing my son to celebrate his. I am a firm believer in making my son’s life better than my own, but how can I do this when I am doing the same things that were done to me? This has been a long day for me (mentally). From going to church to going to Chuck E. Cheese. Tonight is just me going off the top of my head. I believe that I am a Messager but it seems that no one wants the message or am I the one the message is for? If I was to judge my life using the same measuring tool as the world my measurement would be pretty low. no money, no job, no car, no house, no nothing…. I was just thinking….

Understanding is best….
My live is what I want it to be. Life is an action that must be dictated. I once believed that my life was under the authority of another therefore allowing me to do nothing but live, wonder and worship. As an effect of my understanding of what it was I was told to believe I was living my live to be pleasing, helpful, kind, a servant, and humble to other. This resulted in me believing that I was to live my life for others and not my self. My understanding of what I was taught to believe left me to wonder with hope of getting an answer after death from one I will never understand. Now a days I have a new belief and I believe in Me. I can do what I want to do. I understand what it is I understand and I chose to live my live.

To deny the Bible is to deny God?
If we could agree on one thing it would be that God is bigger than a book. The only evidence that people have to support that the Bible is the word of God is from a 3rd hand source. Authors of a book telling you that God told them to write down what God said, so that you will one day read it so you can understand God? If this is you evidence of God, a Bible written by the hands of man, translated by the knowledge of man bonded together fo the purpose of controlling man by combing different cultures stories.myths, and proverbs about good, evil and decision-making. If this where you read about you Jesus who hung bleed and died so that man might live. If this is where you evidence comes from I belive that your faith in a bible and a savior is a myth and takes away from God and places God on a shelf with a price tag. Also teaches that this wold belongs to the Devil and in this world the Devils world the Bible is the best-selling book of all time. My People it is time to wake up and think with a godly mindset.We dont need a book to house the Creator. For God to be the Bible doesn’t have to be! Take your eyes off the Bible and close them and put them on God.
